Ragroof Tea Dance

A cornucopia of dancing delights, featuring a DJ playing vintage dance music, glamorous costumes, glorious dance displays, and our trademark Instant Dance Classes in a number of popular rhythms. Everyone is welcome, absolute beginners and experienced dancers alike. No partners needed!

Sunday 5th May sees a Caribbean and Latin Dance extravaganza as we invite you to dress in your most colourful clothes and come to The Coconut Club. Expect a tropical cocktail of vintage Latin favourites, from sizzling Sambas and sexy Salsas to melodic Mambos and merry Merengues.

On Sunday 26th May, don boaters and bow ties, or find your flounciest of frocks, to dance whimsical waltzes and feathery foxtrots at The Strawberry Ball. Let’s tip-toe through the tulips, glide through the misty meadows, and trip the light fantastic!

Both events will also feature a general mix of Ballroom, Latin and Swing dance rhythms. Feel free to dress to impress – we certainly will! – or just come as you are.

Everyone is welcome, no partners needed – the Ragroof Tea Dance gender-free approach to partner dancing encourages everyone to take part, absolute beginners and more experienced dancers alike.

Tea and cakes served – but the bar will also be open for anyone who fancies a crafty tipple.
