CABARET IMPEDIMENTA
An impossible variety show hosted by John-Luke Roberts. Cabaret performers attempt to perform while being confronted by more and more obstacles and increasingly difficult circumstances, randomly chosen by a spinning wheel. Find out if a singer can still sing with a bubble machine pointed point-blank in their face, how a professional hula hooper gets on while haunted by a Victorian ghost, if there is any point to ventriloquism when the lights are off, or if a comedian’s jokes work when the microphone is held in the mouth of the oldest audience member. The late night sensation of the Edinburgh Fringe. In association with the Association for the Palliative Turn.
Previous guests include Mark Watson, Frankie Thompson, Maddy Bye, Ella the Great, The Pink Lotus, The Ukrainian Cossacks, Pete Heat, Bilal Zafar, Siân Docksey, Attila the Stockbroker, Joz Norris and many more
